Very cool place and the food was very good, not amazing but the service and environment make for a cool experience! Also, prices are more than fair!

Great place for lunch. Every table order fried perch. This is their specialty it comes with french fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce.

We haven't had an opportunity to visit Tackle Box 2 in a hot minute, but today we happened to make the trip yo Fremont, so we stopped in for a late lunch. Even at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy. Got even busier by the time we finished eating. We split a pound of perch with fries and Cole Slaw. Probably more than what we should've consumed, but it was better than good! The perch is very lightly battered and done to perfection. I also enjoy the cole slaw. The ambiance? Wow! Eclectic and ever evolving is the only way to put it. Every time you visit, there is something new to look at. Most definitely keeps your eyes busy. A very relaxed atmosphere on the waterfront in Fremont. A go-to for a great perch dinner. They also have fantastic frog legs - just sayin'... The full bar is also a bonus for the patrons to have a few libations during their time at Tackle Box 2.

Here visiting Fremont after moving away about 25 yrs ago to visit family. Imagine my surprised when I learned of the "Tacklebox II". Yearning for a good fix of pearch at the Tacklebox was a treat. Interesting decor, reasonable price, delicious perch and prompt service during our visit. What more could a guy ask for?

100% recommend it! We have been here several times and they are very consistent with everything. The Pollock is tender and amazing. The clams are awesome. The only thing that I noticed this time was that the fish came on top of our fries. Which caused the fish to drain on our fries. Totally fine because I was there for the fish! I might explore the end next time..... Naw.....

We love coming to this place! Definitely a hidden gem! Because its location is along the river, it is not visible from any roads. If you are a lover of fresh, Lake Erie perch, this place is a MUST! It can be busy and they do not take reservations, so if you go during peak times you may wait to be seated. Once you are seated, service is super fast and friendly!

The fish at tackle box 2 is always excellent. The inside is overloaded with every decoration and collectible you can think of. It has a key west vibe with the decor and the view of the water. Be prepared to wait if they're busy, but it's worth it. The service, ehhhh it's hit or miss, you just overlook it.

We were told about The Tackle Box by our cousin, so we drove up to meet them there. Fabulous perch and fries! Incredible coleslaw too. The inside is a sight- so much going on that I found myself chuckling at the decor. Worth the drive.

Great place overlooking the Sandusky River. Delicious perch and walleye; the best around that isn't on the lake. Fried Mushrooms and fries are hand cut skins on and crispy and served hot. I also recommend the Fried Bologna sandwich (even the little one will fill you up!) You get a feeling you are on a beach somewhere. Fun eclectic interior with lots of outdoor eating as well.
